India, March 23 -- A 40-year-old man was allegedly chained and confined in a locked room for four months over a theft in Odisha's Keonjhar district. The incident came to light from Purunaghati village under Anandapur police limits after cops rescued the victim on Sunday.Odisha Tourism Information

The survivor, identified as Kshirod Pradhan, was allegedly subjected to inhuman torture by the family of his neighbour, Shivraj, after he was accused of stealing some iron rods from their house around four months ago.
