India, July 12 -- A 35-year-old man and his two minor sons were killed in a road mishap in Odisha's Nabarangpur district on Sunday.

The accident took place in Raighar area of Nabarangpur in the evening.

The deceased have been identified as Balaram Gond and his two minor sons of Kartabhari village in neighbouring Chhattisgarh.

Gond's wife and another son sustained critical injuries in the mishap that occurred on Raighar-Kundei road.

As per reports, Gond, his wife and three sons were returning home on a motorcycle at around 5 pm after visiting Raighar for some work.

A speeding truck hit their bike from the rear and dragged it to some distance. Gond and two of his sons died on the spot.
