India, Sept. 22 -- In a gesture reflecting sensitivity and compassion in the justice system, a judge at the Tushura JMFC Court in Balangir district stepped outside the courtroom to record the statement of a man suffering from paralysis who was unable to enter the court premises.

The incident took place in connection with a 2023 case involving Bhushab Sahu of Atgaon under Tushura police station. Sahu had been summoned to appear before the JMFC court in connection with the case.

Advertisement Sahu reached the court at the scheduled time but, owing to his health condition, remained inside an auto-rickshaw parked outside the courtroom instead of entering the court.
