India, Sept. 5 -- On charges of sexually assaulting a woman after luring her to Chandikhol on the pretext of meeting her ailing husband, two men have been arrested in Jajpur district.

The incident reportedly took place on September 1. The accused have been identified as Ramachandra Sahu of the Badachana police station area and Chhabindra Tarai of the Jenapur police station area.

According to police, the accused allegedly contacted the woman, a resident of the Kalinganagar police station area, and told her that her husband was unwell and staying in Chandikhol.

Concerned about her husband, the woman travelled to Chandikhol by bus. The two accused were allegedly waiting for her there.
