India, Sept. 3 -- The Land Allotment Committee (LAC) of the Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO) has approved 37 project proposals aimed at accelerating industrial development and strengthening the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) ecosystem in the state.

The approvals were granted at a meeting of the committee held on September 2 under the chairpersonship of Additional Chief Secretary, Housing & Urban Development Department and IDCO Chairperson Usha Padhee.

Of the 37 proposals approved, 24 involve land allotment for major industrial projects, while the remaining 13 are aimed at promoting MSMEs. The decisions are expected to facilitate faster project implementation, generate employment at the local l...
