India, Aug. 25 -- Continuous heavy rain has inundated several low-lying areas of Astaranga block in Puri district, disrupting normal life and movement.

A major road in Ward No. 8 of Nuagad Gram Panchayat has been affected by waterlogging, with rainwater flowing over the road. Around 200 feet of the stretch has remained submerged, making it difficult for people to commute.

Two-wheelers and small vehicles are also facing problems while passing through the affected stretch.

The accumulation of water on the road has raised concerns over possible accidents, particularly for motorists travelling through the waterlogged area.
