India, April 13 -- In a tragic mishap, at least one person died while five others sustained critical injuries following a devastating gas cylinder explosion in Ranpur in Odisha's Nayagarh district on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Geetarani Mohanty (59). She succumbed to injuries today morning at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Doctors at the premiere institute are monitoring the condition of the other five family members who continue to be in critical condition and are battling for survival.
