India, Nov. 1 -- The Ganjam district administration has taken disciplinary action against three government employees for alleged negligence in managing the flood situation after Cyclone 'Arnab'.

While a marketing inspector and a Panchayat Executive Officer (PEO) have been suspended, another PEO has been served a show-cause notice over alleged lapses in discharging their duties during the disaster management operations.

Satyanarayan Panda, PEO of Antarigan Gram Panchayat under Purushottampur block, has been suspended.

Similarly, Balakrishna Nayak, Marketing Inspector of Dharakote block, has also been placed under suspension.
