India, Sept. 3 -- Four workers were seriously injured after a fire broke out at an under-construction ethanol plant near Gateri village under Nuagaon police limits in Odisha's Nayagada district on Wednesday.

The injured workers were initially admitted to the Nayagada District Headquarters Hospital. As their condition deteriorated, they were later shifted to Bhubaneswar for further treatment.

The injured have been identified as Bibhuti Pradhan of Kanigiri village, Sharat Sahu of Mahipur village, Dillip Nayak of Ghadeibandha village and Braja Kishore Pradhan of Itamati village.
