India, May 30 -- Reaffirming the Odisha government's zero-tolerance policy against corruption, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has dismissed former Bhubaneswar Additional Tahsildar Chittarajan Pilla from government service over alleged irregularities in official decisions related to land matters.

According to an official statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office on Saturday, Pilla had earlier served as Additional Tahsildar in Bhubaneswar and was later posted as Deputy Collector in Jagatsinghpur.
