India, March 26 -- Panic gripped residents of Shree Vihar in Chandrasekharpur after a fire broke out inside the lift of an apartment building on Thursday.

Two individuals who were trapped inside the smoke-filled lift were successfully rescued by emergency responders.

Short circuit suspected as cause of blaze in Shree Vihar apartment According to initial reports, the incident occurred at Badshah Apartment, where a suspected short circuit triggered the fire inside the lift.
