India, March 14 -- Panic has gripped parts of Kandhamal district of Odisha after a series of elephant attacks claimed three lives within two days in different forest areas.
In the latest incident, a man was killed early today morning after being attacked by an elephant in the Rajenbadi-Danipangi forest near Sindurgada under Paburia Panchayat in Tikabali block's Sarangada police limits. The victim had gone near the forest area when the elephant suddenly attacked leading to his death on the spot.
