India, April 8 -- In a significant push to industrialisation in Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 36 industrial projects, with a cumulative investment of Rs 40,811 crore and employment potential of over 59,050 jobs.

Spanning multiple districts, these projects represent a diverse range of high-impact sectors including Green Energy Equipment, Metal & Downstream Industries, Textile & Apparel, Plastics, Tourism, Agro & Food Processing, Defence Manufacturing, IT & ITES, Automobiles, Cement, and Capital Goods, reflecting the state's rapidly evolving and diversified industrial ecosystem.
