India, Aug. 26 -- The body of a class-VIII student was recovered from a drain behind a government high school in Odisha's Koraput district today, raising questions over the management of the school hostel.Travel Guides & Travelogues

The deceased student, identified as Gurunath, was a resident of Maliguda village under Haradaguda panchayat. He was studying at Gumuda Government High School in Borigumma block and was staying in the school hostel.

According to the reports, Gurunath had been missing from the school premises since Monday. Shockingly, his body was recovered from an abandoned drain behind the school.
