India, April 4 -- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Saturday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for approving Rs 447.11 crore for the upgradation of a key National Highway stretch in the state.
In a statement issued on behalf of the people of Odisha, the Chief Minister said the sanctioned funds will strengthen a vital interstate corridor and improve connectivity across multiple districts.
The project involves the upgradation of a 103.52-km stretch of the Kurumpuri-Raj Khariar section across NH-353 and NH-59 in Nuapada and Balangir districts.
