India, March 16 -- Voting for four Rajya Sabha seats in Odisha witnessed a brief disruption in the State Assembly on Monday after a controversy erupted over the vote cast by BJP MLA Upasna Mohapatra.Odisha Travel Guide

The dispute began when Mohapatra reportedly made an error while marking her ballot paper. Due to overwriting on the ballot, she sought a second ballot paper from the polling officials. The request immediately drew objections from agents of the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and the Congress, who questioned it.

Following the objections, voting was temporarily halted.
