India, Sept. 27 -- Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida inaugurated the light and sound show at Khandagiri-Udayagiri caves in the Odisha capital here on the occasion of World Tourism Day on Sunday.

The light and sound show at Khandagiri-Udayagiri, a popular tourist destination, has been developed by the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) in collaboration with the Tourism Department of the state government.

The initiative seeks to enhance the interpretation and visitor experience of the historic Khandagiri and Udayagiri caves by combining storytelling, light, sound and modern technology.
