India, March 15 -- Two persons were killed and seven others injured after a rice-laden pickup van overturned near Kachapaju village under Bishamakatak police limits in Rayagada district of Odisha late Saturday night.

The deceased have been identified as Drinz Saraka and Madan Saraka. One of them died on the spot, while the other succumbed to injuries at the Bishamakatak Community health Centre (CHC).
