India, Oct. 8 -- Shares of Wolfspeed, Inc. (WOLF) are falling 3% despite the company announcing a conditional commitment for up to $1.5 billion in long-term financing from the U.S. Department of War to support domestic silicon carbide and wide-bandgap semiconductor production.

The stock is currently trading at $30.30, down $1.07 or 3.41%, on the NYSE. It opened at $35.02 after closing the previous session at $31.37. The stock has traded between $13.48 and $80.82 over the past 52 weeks.
