India, Aug. 20 -- Walmart Inc. (WMT) shares fell $10.35, or 9.06 percent, to $103.95 on Thursday, after the retailer reported lower second-quarter profit despite higher revenue.

The stock opened at $106.35 and traded between $103.40 and $106.95 during the session on the New York Stock Exchange. It has traded in a 52-week range of $95.42 to $135.16. Trading volume reached 34.04 million shares, compared with an average daily volume of 23.91 million shares.
