Village Farms International Names Hamid Shekarchi Interim CFO

India, Sept. 10 -- Thursday, Village Farms International, Inc. (VFF,VFF.TO) announced that it has appointed Hamid Shekarchi as interim Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Shekarchi's appointment follows the completion of a thorough search process as part of the company's previously announced CFO succession plan, which was disclosed on April 3, 2026.

He previously served as CFO of the company's Canadian cannabis business, overseeing finance, accounting, and IT. He also helped combine Pure Sunfarms and Rose LifeScience and supported the rapid growth of the company's international export business.
