India, Oct. 14 -- Vertu Motors Plc (VTU.L) reported earnings for its first half that Increases, from the same period last year

The company's bottom line came in at GBP17.79 million, or GBP0.0537 per share. This compares with GBP14.27 million, or GBP0.0411 per share, last year.

Excluding items, Vertu Motors Plc reported adjusted earnings of GBP17.54 million or GBP0.053 per share for the period.

The company's revenue for the period rose 3.4% to GBP2.596 billion from GBP2.510 billion last year.
