India, Aug. 10 -- On Monday, X-ray imaging components provider Varex Imaging Corp. (VREX) reported a return to profit in the third quarter of 2026, compared to loss in the same quarter last year. The turnaround to profit was due to the significantly lower expenses, especially reflecting absense of a goodwill impairment recorded last year

On the Nasdaq in the pre-market activity, the shares were trading 48.68 percent higher at $18.45, after closing Friday's trading 1.31 percent up.

Profit attributable to the company was $15.7 million or $0.37 per share, compared to loss of $89.1 million or $2.15 per share in the prior year.
