India, Sept. 15 -- U.S. defense contractor V2X, Inc. (VVX), announced on Tuesday that it has been awarded a position on a $46 million delivery order supporting the Air Force's Long Range Standoff cruise missile program for the B-52 Stratofortress.

The contract, part of the Enterprise-Wide Agile Acquisition framework, covers carriage equipment production to integrate the LRSO weapon system on the B-52. The program is a key modernization effort to replace the Air-Launched Cruise Missile and maintain long-range strike capability against evolving threats.

The company said the award reinforces its role in advancing next-generation defense capabilities across air, land, sea, space and cyber domains.
