India, Sept. 22 -- The leaders of the United States, Denmark and Greenland will sign a security agreement for Greenland on Tuesday.
The office of Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said that she, her Greenlandic counterpart Jens-Frederik Nielsen and U.S. President Donald Trump would sign the deal on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
The signing is scheduled for 10.30 AM ET.
The deal recognizes the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Denmark, as well as Greenland's right to self-determination, according to Frederiksen.
