India, Sept. 1 -- The U.S. Dollar value edged higher as crude oil prices skyrocketed after the U.S. announced fresh wave of strikes against Iran following the weekend attacks. With Strait of Hormuz shut, inflation concerns rising, expectations of a rate hike by the U.S. Federal Reserve has soared.
Today, the U.S. Dollar Index DXY, which measures the Greenback against a basket of other major currencies, was last seen trading at 99.66, up by 0.25 (or 0.25%).
