India, Sept. 9 -- Turn Therapeutics Inc. (TTRX), a clinical-stage biotechnology company, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Robert R. Redfield, M.D., former Director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).
Redfield brings more than four decades of experience on immunology, microbiology, infectious disease, clinical research, and public health.
He served as the 18th CDC director and previously held senior scientific and clinical positions at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he was Professor of Medicine, Microbiology and Immunology and Chief of Infectious Diseases.
