India, July 8 -- The major U.S. index futures are currently pointing to lower open on Wednesday, with stocks likely to see further downside after ending the previous session mostly lower.

"As far as I'm concerned, it's over," Trump told reporters at the NATO summit in Ankara, Turkey, calling negotiations with Iran a "waste of time."
