India, April 23 -- The Thai Stock market has moved lower in back-to-back sessions, sinking more than 20 points or 1.5 percent along the way. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just above the 1,460-point plateau and it may take further damage again on Friday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft on surging crude oil prices that correspond with tensions in the Middle East. The European markets were mixed and the U.S. bourses were down and the Asian markets figure to open lower.
