India, July 30 -- Stocks have moved sharply higher during trading on Thursday, rebounding following the sell-off seen late in the previous session. The major averages have all moved to the upside, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq leading the charge.
Currently, the Nasdaq is up 617.36 points or 2.5 percent at 25,060.30. The S&P 500 is also up 86.61 points or 1.2 percent at 7,402.76, while the narrower Dow is posting a more modest gain, up 273.97 points or 0.5 percent at 51,868.11.
