India, Oct. 10 -- Taylor Swift's "Patient Zero" has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving the global superstar her 16th career leader.
The strong debut at least temporarily halts Ella Langley's record-setting 24-week run at the top with "Choosin' Texas."
"Patient Zero" is one of four new tracks on the deluxe edition of Swift's 2025 album, The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore, released on September 25. The Life of a Showgirl also returns to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for its 13th total week.
Swift's three other new songs also debut in the Hot 100's top five, with "Cleveland!" at No. 3, "Babylon" at No. 4 and "Pink Clouding" at No. 5.
