India, Sept. 15 -- Tuesday, SMA Solar Technology AG (SMTGY.PK) announced that Chief Executive Officer Jurgen Reinert informed the Supervisory Board about his illness, due to which he is unable to carry out his duties as a member and Chairman of the Managing Board for the coming weeks.
Following this, Olaf Heyden, the Managing Board member responsible for Transformation and Operations, will assume the temporary role of CEO.
Heyden will also serve as Chairman of the Managing Board.
Currently, SMA's stock is trading at $6.72, up 0.37 percent on the OTC Markets.
