India, May 27 -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (SSNLF) on Wednesday said it has signed its 2026 wage agreement with the Samsung Electronics Labor Union Joint Negotiation Team after union members approved the deal in a vote.
Samsung Electronics and the union had reached a tentative agreement on May 20, a day before a planned general strike.
The agreement comes after months of wage negotiations between Samsung Electronics and labor unions. The company said the agreement was approved with 73.7% support, while voter turnout reached 95.5%.
