India, Sept. 8 -- Canadian telecom company Rogers Communications Inc. (RCI) and OEG Sports & Entertainment, or OEGSE, on Tuesday said that they have extended their strategic partnership for another decade, keeping Rogers Place as the home of the Edmonton Oilers through 2036.
The extension coincides with the 10-year anniversary of Rogers Place. To mark the occasion, Rogers will award more than 1,500 Oilers tickets to customers during the season, starting with 300 tickets for the home opener against Vancouver on September 29.
The agreement expands on the sponsorship deal signed in 2013 and includes extensive brand and advertising placements across arena signage, concourse, rink, in-ice, in-bowl and in-game applications.
