India, July 1 -- The Indonesia stock market on Wednesday ended the three-day slide in which it had tumbled more than 350 points or 5.8 percent. The Jakarta Composite Index now rests just shy of the 5,700-point plateau, although it may hand back those gains on Thursday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is weak on concerns over the outlook for interest rates due to rising inflation. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are likely to follow that lead.
