India, Sept. 2 -- Petco (WOOF) on Wednesday reported second-quarter net income of $38.7 million or $0.13 per share, up from $14.0 million or $0.05 per share last year.
Net sales for the quarter were $1.49 billion, essentially flat year-over-year, while comparable sales increased 0.6%. The company said it delivered stronger-than-expected profitability and its second consecutive quarter of positive comparable sales growth.
For fiscal 2026, Petco reaffirmed its outlook for net sales ranging from flat to up 1.5% year-over-year and Adjusted EBITDA of $415 million to $430 million. Third-quarter net sales are expected to grow 0.4%-1.0%, with Adjusted EBITDA of $100 million to $103 million.
