India, Oct. 6 -- On Tuesday, Pacific Biosciences of California, Inc. (PACB), a developer of advanced sequencing technologies, and TychoBio, an AI drug discovery company, announced a collaboration to generate full-length RNA data to train AI models for designing RNA therapies.
TychoBio plans to use PacBio's HiFi and Kinnex long-read RNA sequencing technologies to analyze more than 10,000 samples. The data will link the design of steric blocking antisense oligonucleotides (SBOs) to their effects on RNA across the transcriptome. The companies also plan to expand the approach to siRNA and other RNA-targeting drugs.
