India, Sept. 18 -- Otsuka ICU Medical LLC has issued a voluntary nationwide recall of one lot of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, after discovering that some packages may contain 10 mEq Potassium Chloride Injection instead of the labeled saline solution.

The recall involves lot number 1042188 of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP, supplied in 100 mL flexible containers. The issue was identified following a customer complaint in which a potassium chloride infusion bag was found inside packaging labeled as sodium chloride injection.
