India, July 24 -- Oasis' (What's the Story) Morning Glory? has been named U.K.'s biggest studio album of all time.
70 years ago, on July 22, the U.K. Official Albums Chart was born. Wednesday, for the first time ever, Official Charts exclusively unveiled the Official biggest albums of all time, based on combined U.K. sales and streaming data.
The Manchester legends' 1995 album storms into the all-time ranking at No. 3, having racked up a colossal 6.2 million U.K. chart units to date. Already one of the defining records of its generation, (What's The Story) Morning Glory? enjoyed another major boost following the band's seismic 2025 reunion.
The Britpop titans' 1994 debut album, Definitely Maybe, also makes the list at No. 39.
