India, Sept. 15 -- New Zealand's seasonally adjusted current account balance was a NZ$3.8 billion deficit in the June 2026 quarter, Statistics New Zealand said on Wednesday - NZ$666 million narrower than the March 2026 quarter deficit.
The narrowing of the seasonally adjusted current account deficit was due to: NZ$712 million narrowing of the primary income deficit; NZ$416 million widening of the goods deficit; NZ$300 million change in the services balance from a deficit in the March 2026 quarter, to a surplus in the June 2026 quarter; and NZ$69 million narrowing of the secondary income deficit.
