India, Oct. 8 -- Myriad Genetics (MYGN) and SOPHiA GENETICS (SOPH) announced a collaboration with AstraZeneca (AZN) to advance a new prostate cancer-specific genomic instability score, or PrGIS, for precision oncology.

Prostate cancer is an area where homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) is emerging as an important biomarker for identifying patients who may benefit from targeted treatments. PrGIS is designed to assess chromosomal instability associated with HRD in prostate cancer.
