India, Sept. 29 -- Moleculin Biotech (MBRX) has completed enrolment in Part A of its pivotal Phase 2/3 MIRACLE trial evaluating Annamycin in combination with cytarabine (AnnAraC) in adults with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a fast-growing blood cancer in which abnormal cells build up in the bone marrow and blood, interfering with the production of healthy blood cells. Patients whose disease returns after treatment or does not respond to initial therapy have limited treatment options.
