Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Donates $255,000 To Animal Shelters Across The U.S.

India, Aug. 16 -- Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation has donated $255,000 to animal shelters across the United States.

Through MuttNation's annual Mutts Across America program, different standout shelters in every state will be provided a surprise $5,000 grant.

Lambert's charity organization is teaming up with Tractor Supply Co. for the kind gesture.

The country star launched MuttNation Foundation in collaboration with her mother, Beverly June "Bev" Lambert, in 2009. More than 600 animal shelters have benefited from donations worth more than $2.5 million in grants over the years. Tractor Supply later joined in partnership with MuttNation.
