India, Sept. 19 -- Metallica are extending their M72 World Tour into 2027 with 12 newly announced North American stadium shows.
The new leg kicks off on May 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and concludes on June 19 in Salt Lake City. The run will include stops in San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Fayetteville, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Madison and Cleveland. Limp Bizkit and Avatar will serve as opening acts.
Unlike previous M72 dates featuring two-night "No Repeat Weekend" engagements, the 2027 shows will be single concerts in each city.
Fan club presales begin September 21, with additional Citi and Verizon presales on September 22. General ticket sales begin September 25 at 10 a.m. local time.
