India, Aug. 17 -- Shares of Madison Air Solutions Corporation (MAIR) are falling around 4 percent in Monday morning trading after the company announced its plan to acquire Germany-based ebm-papst, a global supplier of high-performance airflow technology, at an enterprise purchase price of $5.4 billion, or $5.0 billion net of future tax savings.

Shares of the company slipped 4.28 percent to $29.94 on the New York Stock Exchange, compared with the previous closing price of $31.28. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $27.38 to $44.50.
