India, Oct. 21 -- LS ELECTRIC Co., Ltd. (010120.KS), a provider of smart energy solutions, reported Wednesday significantly higher operating profit and sales in its third quarter.
In South Korea, the shares were gaining around 5.61 percent, trading at 163,900.00 won.
In the third quarter, operating income surged 131.7 percent to 233.543 billion Korean won from last year's 100.791 billion won.
Net income attributable to shareholders of parent company was 141.244 billion won, up 112.65 percent from 66.421 billion won a year ago.
Sales grew 54.4 percent to 1.878 trillion won from prior year's 1.216 trillion won.
