India, Sept. 14 -- The Thai stock market has moved lower in four straight sessions, retreating almost 30 points or 1.9 percent along the way. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just above the 1,590-point plateau and it's expected to spin its wheels again on Tuesday.

The global forecast for the Asian markets is soft thanks to a renewed spike in crude oil prices. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to open in similar fashion.
