India, June 7 -- The Thai stock market on Friday ended the two-day winning streak in which it had climbed more than 25 points or 1.7 percent. The Stock Exchange of Thailand now sits just above the 1,580-point plateau and it's expected to take further damage on Monday.
The global forecast for the Asian markets is broadly negative with heavy pressure likely among technology companies. The European and U.S. markets were down and the Asian bourses are expected to follow that lead.
