India, June 22 -- Stock of Ligand Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (LGND) is falling around 7 percent on Monday morning after the company announced its intention to offer $550.0 million of convertible senior notes due 2031 in a private placement.
Shares of the company slipped 6.84 percent to $256.10 on the Nasdaq, compared with the previous closing price of $274.88. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $110.00 to $276.20.
