India, Sept. 1 -- Kala Bio, Inc. (KALA) announced it has entered into a letter of intent (LOI) with Virotek Inc., a CLIA-registered precision health and clinical genomics company, to establish an exclusive U.S. distribution partnership for Virotek's ophthalmology genetic testing and screening program.
Under the proposed framework, Kala would market and distribute the program to eye care practices, telehealth platforms, and other channels, while Virotek continues to operate the laboratory infrastructure, kit fulfillment, specimen processing, and clinical reporting. The collaboration could expand into additional areas such as oncology, preventive health testing, and telehealth services.
